THE SHOW

Baltimorons is an always passionate, frequently irreverent, and occasionally factual weekly romp through the wild world of Orioles baseball and sports fandom in general.  Your hosts Sam Dingman and Alan Smith are expatriate O’s fans in Brooklyn, NY, and each week they are joined by fellow fans to marvel at the endless wonders of the cosmic narrative, from Baltimore to Brooklyn and beyond.  Find us in iTunes, or click on the “Episode Archive” link to listen to past episodes.  We’re also a proud member of the Baltimore Sports Report Network. Thanks for tuning in!

SAM DINGMAN

is a radio producer and storyteller. He produces podcasts for Panoply Media, and was a finalist for the 2013 MLB Fan Cave. As a performer, he's a winner of the Moth GrandSLAM, and has been featured on The Moth Radio Hour. His work has appeared on RISK!SplitSider, UCB’s “A Funny Thing,” TBTL, the Story Collider, the First Person Arts Festival, The Los Angeles Comedy Festival, Seattle Sketchfest, Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, and beyond.  Find more of his work at WALT-FM, along with other relevant ramblings and ruminations.

ALAN SMITH

was a producer for the Peabody award winning the Brian Lehrer show on WNYC radio until he struck out to seek his fortune in the wild wilderness of politics, podcasting, and progressive organizing.   That radio stuff is probably his only claim to being a co-host with Sam, and Baltimorons is the only place that you can hear Alan’s Baseball Rantings (tm) on the internets. If you’d like to see him wear his political feelings on his sleeve, you can do that on the Next New DealSalon, and the Roosevelt Institute | Campus Network.
